I took this photo on Saturday afternoon, riding the ferry to Vermont.

This is my accessible parking permit. Even though I walk, it helps me save energy and endurance by allowing me to park closer to where I am going. It’s not my most crucial tool of independence and mobility, but without the permit my life would be measurably more miserable.
